ick a card, any card. Memorize it and put it back in the deck. Now, is THIS your card? No? How about this one? Looks like card tricks are better left to professionals like Lee Terbosic. He’s a comedy magician from Pittsburgh who’s done magic since he was 12. He performs often, meaning sleight-of-hand is his full-time job, so he needs a business line.
Before he discovered Line2, this meant having two separate devices. “I got annoyed having to check two phones all the time,” he said. Line2 allows him to have a business line, one he can display on his website, leeterbosic.com. “The app’s good for promoting that you have an office,” he said. “You want to have a separate line for that, one you can give out to people.”
He calls this line his “Bat Phone.” After his work day ends, he likes being able to text with his friends on the same device he uses in the office. The app’s simplicity also appeals to him. “It stuck similar to the iPhone’s design concept, which I like,” he said.
The emailing of voicemail files is one of his favorite features. “When you’re in a spotty coverage area, or you forget your phone, your messages are right there in the inbox, “he said. “I can listen to them and save them all under a separate tab in my email.”
Lee’s craft takes hundreds of hours of practice to master “There’s definitely a hard-work side of show business people don’t see,” he said. Whether it’s a corporate gig, a trade show, or a hospitality suite, Lee stays busy and still garners new clients all the time. With Line2, our biggest magic trick is organizing his work and home life without necessitating a boxful of different devices.
